I feel the same way, went on keto a few days ago and it wasn’t too hard given that most of my diet was fats. However, now I feel like shit and have been second guessing the decision. I’m motivated to power through it though, it’s worth it to me to make a change. I stopped drinking when I started keto and that has been rough too. I was drinking 4+ beers everyday like a fucking autist.
At what interval do you take breaks for blood production? Do you have any good resources for keto? Thanks.
Also, the feeling like shit is normal. You are trying to produce glucose from proteins because you've never gone into ketosis. Your sympathetic nervous system kicks in and causes heart palpitations, blurry vision, anxiety, shortness of temper, hot flashes, and fatigue. This can last up to two weeks the first time or two.
My "keto flu" is less than 24 hours now.
