I got bad news for you pal. No one cares how smart you are. All they care about is not drinking diet soda.
what good is all that info doing you?
Frightening as it may seem, some people enjoy learning new things.
Others enjoy mastering one thing.
Strange world.
Good question.
I lost 500gb of books recently. Am working on rebuilding.
Any suggestions?
For your 10 books, seems none of them really interest you or you have too many distractions. Could some of both. Which book do you want to finish most? Which book do you not care overly much if you finish or not? Put that one(s) back in shelf.

Bummer, for real. But I'm the last one to ask.
>For your 10 books, seems none of them really interest you
Nay, but they all do. I'm about to finish one tonight.
Thing is, with the internet and all the info there as well, it just makes it even harder. When you feel like you're learning for the first time, things have been hidden from you, it makes one ravenous for the truth (if he's a truth seeker, and I am).
Good advice though, thanks.
Is very fair about the 10 books. I cannot disagree. It is how I ended up with 500gb books. The internet and all the wonderful side paths, hidden ways, and many rabbit holes 🤔😂
In the 1500s, nobility had their own musicians and books were scarce.
Today I have my PC to the left of me, my phone to the right, a massive stack of books, I have radio, whatsapp, instant music (any kind of music), access to infinite information about that music (or anything I care to look up), I can see a thousand attractive naked women having sex if I want, I can talk instantly to anyone in the world and send pics.
On and on.
Goodness my mind.
Not only all that but I discover new info every day, historical and present. I can learn to cook anything, plant anything, shoot anything, ride anything. I've got advice coming out my ears.
Blah blah blah you feel me?
Guess I'll just go watch The Love Boat.
You might want to try silence now and then. I'm serious. It's beneficial to spend a quiet evening with no television, no computer, no recorded music. Read a book, work on a puzzle, build something, go for a walk, play a board game with some friends. No electronics of any kind. It is cleansing for the soul.
Absolutely.
Its pretty simple. I read one till Im done then start another.
Novel idea. But that's what I need to do.
The best policy is to read one book at a time. If you decide it is not worth reading, stop reading it and move on to the next book -- don't go back to it.
