I fire up psiphon3. Its free as well. I'm not entirely sure why it would work unless there is some sort of geotagging that affects certain vids in certain countries. I don't know any technical aspects about bitchute but I heard they have had to compromise their content and possibly their service to kowtow to (((certain parties))).
I mainly use the vpn when bitchute cant serve a file and puts up the message that it is potentially illegal in this country but I have had success loading vids via psiphon3 that do the constant buffer/never load thing
