They have food and entertainment enough to distract themselves, and doing something is such a big task that they would rather bury their heads and just go along with it.

Better be. I am growing ever tired of this bullshit. I started working out because I see a dystopian future ahead. I am also on the hunt for lots of .22LR ammo. I figure after society collapses I will need to be able to hunt small game to support my family. Also have been looking into how to set snares. I plan on full societal collapse within 2 years and it will then be every man for themself.
