You're totally right about the 80-90s shit. I wish the music sub was more active, for me it's less about internet points and more about sharing music others may not be aware of but may ultimately end up appreciating.

yeah, i just listen to a lot of different stuff, i just share what i like.
i actually get msgs saying they like what i posted etc. i'd rather have that than votes. or they ask if anything else like it that i know.
