A few months ago, hot posts would have 80 upvotes and about the same in comments. Now, a good one barely gets 40. I checked talk.lol. No one is there either. Did I miss something?

I can understand that. Getting Voat suddenly shut down really changed some perspectives for me. It's good to not be attached. Inevitably, if the site is hostile to part of the user base, it's going to become hostile to every fringe outside the user base that is attracting new members at all.
