Goosebumps.

https://news.northeastern.edu/2018/07/30/the-curious-case-of-the-people-who-can-control-their-goosebumps/

I thought everyone can do this but apparently not. I have been able to do this easily my whole life and even have it happen when I don't want it, listening to something corny I disagree with and I have to control it not happening. I can will it easily just doing nothing, repeatedly with just a few seconds to recharge.

My mother can't and she's also a super bitch. (sorry mother, love ya but you are). She's unable to feel music or anything uplifting. She's also a hardcore liberal. So, I'm wondering if there's a correlation but seeing most of the population can't do it, maybe there's not. Idk, can you do it?

Your ears are mostly cartilage tho. Hard to think controlling blood flow would be possible but I'll offer deniability knowing some people's ears burn when they're mad, so blood flow is the reason. But to be devil's advocate as well, freezing has the sensation of warming past a certain point and ears get cold quickest. Not discounting your post.
