Goosebumps.

https://news.northeastern.edu/2018/07/30/the-curious-case-of-the-people-who-can-control-their-goosebumps/

I thought everyone can do this but apparently not. I have been able to do this easily my whole life and even have it happen when I don't want it, listening to something corny I disagree with and I have to control it not happening. I can will it easily just doing nothing, repeatedly with just a few seconds to recharge.

My mother can't and she's also a super bitch. (sorry mother, love ya but you are). She's unable to feel music or anything uplifting. She's also a hardcore liberal. So, I'm wondering if there's a correlation but seeing most of the population can't do it, maybe there's not. Idk, can you do it?

I can slow my heart rate. I've read that people can be trained to do with with bio feedback, but I've never used bio feedback. I can also turn on bloodflow in my ears so that they never freeze, no matter how cold it gets or how hard the wind blows. I can have melting snow over my ears in a 50 MPH wind at 0 degrees F. and my ears won't freeze. It's useful when clearing the snow out of my driveway. I never bother wearing a hat.

Your ears are mostly cartilage tho. Hard to think controlling blood flow would be possible but I'll offer deniability knowing some people's ears burn when they're mad, so blood flow is the reason. But to be devil's advocate as well, freezing has the sensation of warming past a certain point and ears get cold quickest. Not discounting your post.
