Its not just the jannies fucking it up; basically AI has gotten so good at derailing threads it is impossible to discuss anything before it goes off topic.
/pol is basically Google's training ground for AI (I use it as well because it is set up to be easily scrapeable). I would say at least 40% of posters there are bots.
/pol is a corpse of what is once was. All of what made /pol amazing is gone. Any meaningful threads are all derailed by shills or pornposters. It is basically /b at this point.
I only browse /g because I discovered crypto there and made life changing money and /biz because the pink wojacks amuse me.
Basically all of the og autists have left for greener pastures. There are still some gems out there for meaningful discussion. I wont share them because this place is a honeypot so fuck you agent goldburg.
