If you want to STAY married...Don't have one.

Not looking to do anything to ruin our marriage, just looking for something for woman to do as a group, besides nails and shopping.

Sewing. Learn how to make your husband nice articles of clothing. Cooking. Learn how to cook him decent meals. Cleaning. Learn how to keep your home tidy, clean and dust-free. Be a woman, instead of trying to ape a man.

I do all of that and much more, I know my role 🤣 he is an amazing cook though.

You should all get together and bake tons of different cookies! At the end everyone takes home a few of each

Best idea so far.

Yeah, pick something related to an hobby of yours and make something grandiose and extravagant that you wouldn't normally do.

My soon to be sister in laws have gotten a 6 bedroom cabin on a lake. We are going canoeing, or kayaking. A hibachi chef is going to cook dinner for us, a winery owner is coming for wine tasting, and we are going to paint in the evening.

That sounds nice.

cabins like that are kinda easy to find around here, with walking trails full kitchen etc

maybe you can find a airbnb.... or even a bread and breakfast someplace is another one.

There is some cabins around here and I live right next to an outdoor shooting range.

One of the best ones I went to, we had a sleepover at a house that was rented and we hired a chef who cooked for us. It was awesome. It was just girls, fantastic food, and alcohol.

I personally didn’t have one.

Painting With a Twist.

[–] 0 pt (edited )

Whats the twist? Painting is a great idea my house certainly needs it 🤣 just kidding. I really like that idea.

The twist is the lime in the margaritas you have while painting the moon over mountains and laughing with and at each other's works of art! Lol!

I really like your style! I think I'm going with this!

If you live near some water, get your lady friends to go in on a houseboat rental for a weekend. Stock up on some booze and food and just relax while chilling in the hot tub (they usually have these on the top level) or park or on a different beach each day.

I did it for a bachelor party with about 8 guys that were all good friends. Great time and it came out to like $500-$600 after all food, booze, and rental fees were added up and split evenly.

Have a candle making party, where everyone makes customized scented candles, or get a few massage therapists to come with their tables, and everyone share some wine, and binge on romantic movies while waiting for their turns.

Provide some envelopes, let attendees write something to be opened at a later date, like months or years into the future. Put the opening date on the outside. Like time capsules of good wishes and things to remember when the grind of daily life starts to overrun the memory of why you got ,married in the first place.

  • make it a fun activity that you enjoy. Go wine tasting, or glamping, or have a spa day, or rent a boat. A day that you enjoy, and then end it with a sleepover if you want.

I do live near wineries. Can you believe I have never ever drank wine?

For what is worth, the fact that you found Poal speaks well for your character. Your man is lucky. Best of luck!

You gather all your girls and have a quilt making party. Make a marriage quilt. Put your vows on the quilt. Add different things like, have pictures put on cloth and let them be part of the quilt. Then you have a keepsake that you and your husband can use! One of the most beautiful quilts I have ever seen had a double wedding ring sewing pattern to hold the quilt together. Something like that would be real nice and very traditional!

That's an awesome idea, thanks!
