I abstain from this vote. I was there. Didn't kill anyone, thank god. Think about this. We were raised on GI Joe, Starship Troopers, Rambo, etc. I feel like I was raised to want to go fight in war. I get older and enlist and holy cow, go to "war". I wanted to be in a war and I don't know if I cared too much how just the war was. I mean if it was blatantly unjust I wouldn't have wanted to fight but everyone was telling us it was the right thing to do and it had to be done. One time in the middle of fucking Baghdad I got out of my vehicle and pissed in the street (because I really had to pee). That's actually haunted me ever since. Imagine a foreign invader just pissing all over your town. I, at least, picked up some karma in the middle east. If I ever get the means I wouldn't mind wrapping up my life over there trying to actually become a part of their country and help to actually rebuild it. But I don't think I'll get that lucky. Regular Americans might be more or less guilty/evil than me. They just don't seem to care and I think they are capable of caring but choose not to. I would not use the word evil. Perhaps we have been a different kind of victim in that we have become a worse type of people than we would have been through decades of exponential corruption in our Government. I don't think we're evil. Maybe weak in some ways.
