Do you really believe a carrier group could survive a missile and submarine attack from China? I don't.
Absolutely. China is completely dominated when it comes to naval power.
China has the largest naval force in the world, lol
By hulls, not tonnage
Not nearly as powerful as a real navy tho.
Source on that?
I heard China have invested heavily in their navy, probably read it on ZH.
Also if the US went to war with China Beijing would drop the dollar in a hot minute. All that worthless paper flying home woud make the states the new zimbabwe. your country is technically insolvent. Only reserve currency status is preventing bankruptcy.
If China calls washington's bluff you may find out the US is a paper tiger only fit for drone striking weddings and shepherds.
At current rates of military buildout China will surpass the United States in approximately 2150. They are hopelessly, hilariously outgunned.
There are 20 jump carriers on the deep blue sea, the US owns 10 of them. A super carrier has approximately 7 times the fire power as a jump carrier. On the deep blue sea there are 10 super carriers, the US owns ALL of them.
What you are hearing about china's naval investments is probably the floating casino they recently converted into a super carrier, it isn't due to be finished untill 2022 or 2023. It also may be true that they have more naval vessels than the US, but those are mostly small craft with little to no fire power in comparison.
If the US went to war with the entire world with our Navy alone, the world would be hard pressed to win once we shut down global trade and commerce.
That's just our Navy. There is still the Army, Air Force, and Marines.
the US is a paper tiger
Seems like I heard that one before...
