I don't care what being a good Samaritin gets me. If I die fighting the evil inflicted on this country, I will die happy. Obviously I care about whether or not it would be successful, but I don't care what reward I get in this life or the next. To spit in the face of tyranny is its own reward. Truth is, regardless if I fight or not, I WILL be made out to be a monster, eventually, for the virtue of being an individualistic cis white 'goy'. If seeing children in drag still makes you cringe, eventually you will be separated and culled. It doesn't matter what your politics are, if you aren't a zombie and could put together 2+2 without having to memorize the answer, they will come for you. I'm talking generally, of course. Despite my fire and brimstone speech, I encourage you to do what you believe is right, and that's the most anybody could ask. In my view, though, I don't see another ethical option but to fight. Moving away doesn't work. Any form of negotiating or politicking doesn't work. Fighting the information war while the economy of scale favors the nepotistic rich doesn't work. Attempting to raise a generation that is more able to fight, doesn't work. I guess what I would ask is what would be the alternative?
