First they'll jail leaders. Then they'll shoot protestors. Then when most of the plebs are dead the robots will shoot the police. And the elites will live in their robot-labor utopia without any peasants.

Cops are doing what they have to do to keep their jobs, which probably means response time is waaaaay down....and who could blame them?
If the biggest scumbag-criminal alive were to be stopped by the most honorable cop alive, all criminal has to do is lie about police brutality and that cop gets investigated by Internal Affairs and even if found innocent, still has that accusation in his file for the history of his employment.
It doesn’t matter if this criminal is known to set up cops on bogus Internal Affairs investigations, these cops still have to take the black mark on their record and sit through the indignity of an investigation.
Why would cops go out and try to actually fight crime, if that just sets them up to be not only fired, but to go to jail or a lying criminal?
I heard this from a few different cops over 20 years ago, so I can’t even imagine how low morale is now.
Our system is all fucked up and it needs to be chucked and we need to start over.
