I just ran into something new with UPS and I wonder if any of you have also? Last Friday I was supposed to get a delivery via UPS but I never did. Subsequently, I got an email from them saying that they attempted to deliver to my house but no one was home...so my package wound up at one of their third-party delivery partners, in this case a CVS store. Their email said the delivery was attempted at 4:33 pm. I was home and I didn't hear or see anything. Neither did my two highly observant and yappy dogs. They bark like hell at anyone coming into the yard--postman, meter reader, UPS man, FedEx man etc.

So my wife goes the next day to get the package and there were four other people there also for their packages, and no one was happy. Does anybody know if this new wrinkle is a planned "new normal" thing? We've had the same UPS driver for over 25 years and he's a great guy, but I doubt it was him Friday afternoon. I'm seeing a lot of Skraqueeahs and D'Wantahns driving for FedEx and UPS and frankly my very first thought when I learned that my package got dumped elsewhere is that delivery services that employ niggers are experiencing a significant loss of efficiency.

This is not just UPS. This is courier companies everywhere

I stopped going in to shops when they started enforcing masks. Fuck you. Not doing it. Not arguing with people. Not worth it.

I ordered that Cyberpunk day 1 edition. Didnt show up. Showed up as 'in transit' in a van for 2 days. I eventually ring Toll (tons of lost luggage) 'oh yeah cant find it we will look into it' next day its out for delivery again.. doesnt show. i check tracking. 'could not gain access to the property' - lying sacks of fucking shit. I live in a townhouse. With a fucking letterbox. On the street. YOU CANT NOT get access to my property. I just flat out cancel the order and get my money back.

Few weeks later, i need new work trousers. BLACK. work trousers. goes with my BLACK work shirt. I order 3 pairs BLACK trousers from a store i would usually walk in to and out of. BLACK. definitely BLACK. I need these things in two days so i pay extra for next day delivery. AGAIN, SECOND order from diff places, with a SET delivery date. Small items. Literally fuck all.

Doesnt arrive. I ring up and ask. No idea where its gone theyll look it up. No one gets back to me. Nothing on tracking, no dispatch notes. Call them again. 'Yes its on its way heres the number' - Doesnt arrive that day either. Shows up a full week later. On a next day delivery. Fee already refunded.

I get my trousers. Something aint right here. I check the labels. They all say 'BLACK' because i ordered BLACK trousers right? and this is a retail store that sells BLACK trousers? I put my 'BLACK' trousers next to my 'BLACK' work shirt and whadda know.

3 pairs of navy blue trousers, all different sizes, none of which were the size i ordered.

And FUCK YOU if anyone things im still being unreasonable. The ONLY reason this fucking shit goes on is because gaslighters want me to be whinged at and told to get the fuck over it so they can pretend theyre not doing it.

It does happen. Everywhere. Fuck. 6 months trying to get a door of the correct specs from Bunnings. They delivered the same wrong door 3 fucking times. And blamed me every time. My mother blamed me. I repeatedly went over the order form with her, measured out the frame, marked the handle side, told them which side the lock was on. triple quadruple checked. 'DO YOU SEE THATS CORRECT' 'YES' 'THEN WHY IS THE DOOR STILL FUCKEN WRONG AND WHY IS IT MY FUCKEN FAULT'

Oh heres the fucking flip side too - Worked for Wilko's in the UK for a bit doing phone orders. I get a call to chase up an apparent non delivered item, its like this outdoor dining setting thing. I ring up the agency courier guy who are usually dodgy as shit anyway, and no shit hes like 'man im going to fucking murder you people if another one rings me. I fucking told you, its delivered, i fucking looked over their back fence, they have a fucking pitcher of lemonade sitting on it and i just about got shot when they almost caught me watching them' 'man no one in the notes has mentioned this, can you get like a pho-' 'YOU FUCKING TOLD ME 4 TIMES IM NOT ALLOWED TO TAKE A PHOTO BECAUSE ITS A BREECH OF THEIR PRIVACY!' - dude got sacked for stealing furniture he delivered that the customer stole and isnt even allowed to prove himself innocent.

Fuck everyone basically. Dont trust anyone. If you think you are being fucked with, its because you are.

And yes, gypsies are every fucking bit as disgusting and dodgy as the tv implies they are.

But I know what you're talking about. I've had deliveries not arrive. Why? They can't find my house. It's on a fucking country road with numbered houses on either side of the road. How can you not find it? It's between number x -1 and number x +1. How fucking hard can it be? And my own house number is on a post by the road, and also beside my front door.

No, that's not uncommon for all the carriers. Some of them are just lazy fucks that don't even try to deliver. You can probably find quite a few stories of people complaining about it, including some video evidence that shows they never even tried to deliver.

nah, its ramped up now. and they cant keep using 'pandemic' as an excuse.

im not fucking kidding you, where i live at least, i think these cunts are trying to slowly get people to comply to make shit easier for themselves.

not going down to big w 5 minutes down the street and getting it delivered instead is lazy as fuck at the best of times, but in non 'plandemic' conditions i could still fairly reliably get stuff delivered. lets say i am actually sick and need shit. But now that people arent allowed to go near shops if they dont want to mask up youd think that these companies would make sure that those people still at home can still ge... oh wait no because that helps people that dont want to comply. So lets just.. you know. lose shit. or fuck with it. then use the exact same tactics they always have when they fuck up deliveries and pretend all is normal but a little bit slow so they just mask up and vaxx up and go to the stores instead to make it easier for themselves.

if your job is to run deliveries, your company is to run deliveries, and you cant make basic deliveries when youre fucking meant to, somethings wrong.

when all of the companies are doing it every time - thats not an accident.

It wouldn't surprise me if they were doing something along those lines.

I'm guessing part of the problem is they have a larger workload, i.e. more boxes, and they don't want to hire more drivers. But the big three (USPS, FedEx, UPS) have been shit for a long time and have been pulling stunts like this for a while.

My gripe about UPS today is that they delivered a D-shaped can of Bondo that looked like it had been stomped on by a gorilla. Effing MESS. Half the sellers fault though- it was just tossed into a box twice its size with nothing to hold it in place. I am guessing the apes at UPS were then amused by the rolling can in a box and did what apes do and smashed it.

Lazy driver, thought he would make up some time. Call and complain, let them know you were home and waiting for a package. I was literally standing our front and watched him drive by, then my package got marked business closed delivery attempted. I called and raised hell, dude was real quiet and real pissed off the next day, pretty sure he got chewed out for it.

UPS has worse customer service than the LAPD. I don't understand why every vendor in the US chooses them.

The one I hate is FedEx. I would never use FedEx for anything, and discourage everyone from sending me stuff through FedEx.

UPS applies brokerage fees to packages crossing the border into Canada that often exceed the value of the product. Although imported goods are subject to duty, UPS applies arbitrary fees that you only become aware of weeks after the package has arrived. The practice is incredibly extortionary.

Ive been getting e mails from UPS where they "encourage me to take advantage of their remote pick up centers". If I wanted to drive to a store i wouldnt shop online.

As someone who works for big brown box moving company, I can tell you that conditions are worsening with all carriers. They can't keep new employees more then a few weeks , months at most. These young kids have no work ethic and they sure as don't want to be working for peanuts when they can make more unemployed or on Biden bucks. Most facilities have automated much of the work, but the automation is garbage and will lead to more damaged packages. Deliveries have no more guarantees even if you pay more for next day air.

if your package has been tampered with, take pictures and contact the shipping company. everytime i have a nog deliver my UPS packages, they have been opened. i mean torn open. i call the business first and tell them of the tampering.
