That said there is some cultural Marxist historical revisionism regarding slavery: If you actually READ history slaves often had certain rights, were taxed LESS than we are TODAY and could buy their freedom. In other words slavery could be said to be a shitty work contract with bad PR. Islamic slavery though.. that REALLY sucked.
