I've been using Proraso for years and I'm pretty happy with it. We went to Europe last summer and I forgot to take it with me though so I went to buy some locally. So. Many. Choices. and all so cheap. Like $2-$3 a tube. Cue shaving cream buying spree as I searched for the ultimate shaving cream. I'm happy to report that I found it, a German brand called Balea. We weren't in Germany but someone had left a tube behind in an AirBNB otherwise I wouldn't have encountered it. But truly it is the hands down the best, and apparently it's darn cheap in Germany. Not the case on this side of the pond unfortunately, but you can find it on Amazon. To be clear none of these were in an aerosol can. They are creams that you whip with a brush, just like your pappy did before going out to punch cows all day.
