The homeless pop. is a key aspect to this. You will not get a straight answer. SF, LA, SD, Vegas, Dallas, San Antonio, Baltimore, Detroit, Atlanta, Miami, DC, nyc, Boston, should have been apocolyptic in magnitude. Hundreds of thouands dead across the country, just in the homeless pop. No need to inflate numbers as they do.

fucking laughed my ass off one day when a nurse came to my job straight from her work.

works as a nurse. in a hospital. shows up at a vocational training class still in her scrubs from work....

but starts to lecture someone whos job is teaching infection controls about how she really needs to keep a mask on because she works at a hospital.

i wonder if she noticed me repeatedly flicking my gaze between her mask and her scrubs trying not to roll my eyes.

Its only about protecting someone elaes liability. Not one bit about your safety. Some sites want us to scan a qr code, filling out an online form pinky swearing we dont have flu symptoms. Ill happily do this when a flagship smartphone, and data/wifi is provided

Some sites accept a hand filled form of the same, cuz they know we arent gonna pay for data, pay for smartphone, in order to NOT get cerb, ei or premiums.

Not filling in the forms, badly filling in forms , filling in extra forms, handing in blank forms.... none of these has resulted in being kicked off site

What about people in my industry? The government gave us an exemption from day 1.

I have hundreds of students per week at multiple venues from all sorts of different workplaces and ethnicities.

Have not heard about a single death in the vocational education industy.

Not one single 'cluster'

No cases attached to my industry. No 'mystery' cases attributed to us.

If people in my job have been working absolutely normally since day one (including cleaning.... we already cleaned our gear as part of basic fucking hygiene practice) why am i not dead?

They take our temp every morning and give us a wrist band. We have to wear masks on our site. Super gay
