Spore legality varies from state to state. They're sold for "microscopy research" only, and unless you plan on selling them (which you should not do) you probably won't even blip the Fed's radar. That being said asking about it online just might blip their radar so...

If you haven't grown mushrooms before i recommend you start with nutritious mushrooms first- Oysters would be a perfect starting point. They're cheap and delicious and you will learn the musbroom growing process- which is fairly simple though it requires attention to detail, cleanliness in particular. Of course the growing requirements for the psilocybes are slightly different but the principles are the same.

Spores are legal. The process of growing them isn't. The kits are legal. You can grow edible mushrooms like shiitake and portobello. Some kits are better than others. If you're a noob, then buy a self running kit. If you have any experience then make your own.

I'm gonna keep this real basic. You can look more into it if you'd like.

You have a conscious and subconscious brain. The theory is you start with just a subconscious which isn't verbal and basically acts like a sponge. As your brain develops you form a conscious brain, and your subconscious gets relegated to memory storage and dreaming. Enslaved if you will. The subconscious seems to depend on the conscious to express itself while you're conscious, but it really shows itself when you dream.

People with PTSD find weed extremely helpful because it seems to inhibit the communication between your subconscious and conscious. All those horrible memories of agonal breathing and the stench of blood are sort of locked away. The problem is the subconscious will get very frustrated, and when it erupts and tries to express itself it can seem like delusions or schizophrenia. The real problem is that you lock that shit away instead of dealing with it.

Mushrooms seem to do the opposite. They make your brain fire more, and in ways it never normally does. It allows you to think about things you've tried to ignore in ways you've never imagined before.

If I smoke weed, I don't remember my dreams. I'll wake up aggro or extremely depressed sometimes with no real idea why. Just a profound sadness or aggression. That's the subconscious struggling to express itself to my drug addled conscious.

If I do mushrooms, I cry. I think about everything my conscious tries to avoid, and I ask myself why I did those things, and it helps me survive. Realistically, according to my beliefs and morals, I shouldn't be alive. But I am, and the more I stare that shit in the face, the more I can accept it, whether or not I ever find forgiveness.

For what its worth i’ve found they tend to amplify what you are going through which can be good as things off the radar become more obvious providing a chance to deal with them however if you are going through a hard time mentally be prepared it may get rough. Start on the light side until you see how they work for you.

Safe to buy spores from ralphsters spores. Midwest grow kits or earth tongue is where to go. Spree got bink shit from a bunk site to bad for him. Psilocybe cubensis is simple to grow and experience. Pm if want more info

The kits are safe to buy but are exponentially more expensive and less effective than just creating your own setup, which is also more discreet. Just do a little research

Shrooms have to be grown in sterile substrate. It requires more than just boiling some wheat berries, you need a reverse hepa filter blowing clean air on your workplace when you inoculate. It’s a ton of work but you can growing a staggering amount of shrooms if you follow protocol and sanitize everything. If you don’t sanitize you will never grow a single shroom. They are hopelessly fragile.

I tell people that are interested that's it's not hard so long as you follow the 3 cardinal rules. Watch your temp, humidity and airflow. Yes, being sterile is important, but only until the substrate has been totally seeded. By the time you take the cakes out of the jar to give them a water bath they are fairly resilient. The fungus has it's own immune system. Granted, you still can't be exceptionally dirty, you just don't need to be extra sterile.

I've never used a kit or grown shrooms but i've gotten psylocibin extract juice off darknet markets multiple times and never had an issue. All orders are encrypted between you and the seller. Worldmarket has pretty good shroom capsules right now for a good price.

Legal to buy

I'd say mushroom trips might have been my top drug experience. Very uplifting, introspective and explorative
