Is it reasonable or useful to vote up lower vote number or newer threads that haven't gotten much attention yet, so to push them closer to the top and avoid a kind of 'vote' monopoly or one sidedness?
I don't say this because I am in opposition, it is the opposite, I see and enjoy the highest voted threads but then that just reinforces the same resulting pattern of those threads dominating and I have to look lower down to find something more interesting in the that list.
Is it meant to keep the same top voted threads over time or does that contradict the purpose of everyone voting to have variety and continuously interesting information?
Keeping the same information creates stagnation and the same echoic talking points and even humor.
