It seems like "inciting violence" is the only one? Is it even illegal?

You can't deliberately libel specific individuals. For example, you can't say that Mr. Brown writes bad checks and abuses his wife if it isn't true, because it would be an injury to his reputation.

You can't incite others to commit specific acts of violence or other crimes. For example, you can't lie and say that a pedophile lives at 1313 Mockingbird Lane, and we must all gather on the night of June 11 to burn his house down.

You can't commit acts of fraud. For example, saying untruthfully that you are a prince of Somalia and that you would like someone to hold $100 million dollars for you, for which you will reward them handsomely, but they must first pay you a thousand dollars.

One more ... on most forums, you cannot speak the truth. For example, pointing out that niggers are of subnormal intelligence and will never be able, as a race, to function at the level of Western civilization.

However, if Mr. Brown is a public figure, it's nearly impossible to prove defamation. This is why speculation is so rampant in the media, and there's rarely any punishment. Tabloids can print falsehoods until they're blue in the face; all they have to do is get someone to say that something is true: such as by paying them money.

For instance, I'm sure there are people on reddit calling Matt Gaetz a pedo, pervert, cheater, prostitute-user right now. They're allowed to speculate based on shit the NY Times made up.

Yes, in America public figures are fair game in the press. Not so much in England, however.

  1. remove the requirement to prove intent. It's almost impossible. Only require proving harm. Otherwise it gives free reign to literally destroy entire nations and peoples entire lives with weaponize propaganda and large scale monopolized media.

  2. strict interpretation of slander only

  3. make slander a felony, and remove corporate protection (executes go to jail. companies dont get to hide behind "personhood" and only pay a penalty. I'll believe corporations are people when the u.s. executes them regularly for fraud).

The media would lose its fucking shit. There would go their entire business model.

Lies, slander, fraud, and defamation.

Free speech is a right. There is no right to commit fraud and slander. It's singularly whats destroying our ability to have a functioning government, and leading to riots and murder because of the campaigns the media is behind.

Sure. I've posted it actually dozens of times on poal in the last 3 months.

Direct actionable threats is another one.

Ok proof though

I demand proof of something I know is true!

Fuck you, I'm not your bitch. Find your own proof. Or not, I don't care.

educate me on these things that are illegal

[–] 0 pt

Why, are you anxious to follow them?

In the US? Pretty much whatever you want. You can't directly threaten someone. You can even say: let's kill all the Jews. But you can't say: I'm going to kill the jew user . However if you were to organize a posse to kill jews, that could be considered conspiracy. None of this is particular to an internet message board, on principle. Some individual statutes might rely on you using a "telecommunications device" or some faggotry like that. Particularly, if they want to make a federal crime out of your little hate post.

Depends what country you're in.
