Is the block user feature working as intended? A user recently blocked me and now it will not let me reply to any of their comments. It is understandable for them to be able to hide any replies/posts on their end, but it appears that it prevents the post from going through at all.

If this is how this is intended to work I see this as a huge violation of free speech. If not, then it's not working as intended.

Ok, AOU. You win. There's no discussing things with you.

Come on man, don't give me that "you win" attitude.

You provided a list of accounts calling them obvious alts.

Logs show only 3 accounts with an alt or two and as mentioned in my previous comment, they haven't been caught by the algorithm because they haven't broken the ToS.

Using alt accounts to tamper votes for your own gain or to target someone else's account will result in all your related accounts restricted and votes cancelled.

The original discussion was about how the rule doesn't prevent users who actually want to circumvent it with alts from doing so, and (the important bit) it only hurts users who want to have a discussion with people other than the person who blocked them about something they said. This is the real world equivalent of the rule as it stands. (pic8.co)

But there's obviously something I don't know about. Something that no one could know about unless you said what it was, which you wont (and seriously I don't blame you). So this discussion will go nowhere and isn't worth continuing.

That’s incorrect as explained in the ToS, it’s the opposite.

If you use an alt to specifically target some users or game votes you’ll end up being slapped by the algorithm (your main account included)

But there's obviously something I don't know about. Something that no one could know about unless you said what it was, which you wont

You’re paranoid then, because there’s nothing untold.
