This is the most correct answer so far. OP, all Scotch is "whisky and whiskey" but only Scotch "whisky" comes from Scotland. Same as all cognac is brandy but not all brandy is cognac. Look up whisky vs whiskey or cognac vs brandy... or go sip some more kosher wine but this actually won your retarded riddle.

Although gin is from Holland and rum was invented in the West indies.
