O.k. all of you stackers out there, where is a respectable Mint in America that doesn't charge an arm and a leg and that has some bullion in stock that they will ship. My "friend" (actually my Dad) was on the phone today with one of the Fox advertisers and they were proud to sell him bullion for $36/oz and (checks internet)... Dad, slv spot is around $25 atm. That's one heck of a markup / boomer savings remover.

So guys, here's the question:

Which mint has verifiable silver bullion, has it for a decent price and will ship to an address in the U.S.

Extra question: what are the most common pitfalls when buying silver online.

Get it from apmex on eBay, it's better pricing. Apmex only gives the cheap cheap to very large orders.

I just checked and it looks like the prices are a bit lower direct from APMEX, if you are buying a bit more than quite a few ounces. I really have no idea what my Dad had in mind but I am assuming that he meant more than like $100.

APMEX looks like the way to go though, if you grab 10 1 kilo bars it's only $5.59 over spot... which really isn't all that bad.

I wouldn't buy silver myself, this is for my Dad, my family has been investing in real estate because you just can't make more of it.
