We all know the parable of the Frog and the Scorpion. The question of the day is; did the Scorpion know that he would sting the Frog while convincing him otherwise or did the Scorpion make the excuse as an afterthought as they both drowned?

NO, the scorpion couldn't help betraying the frog. The promise was sincere at the time it was made. Our true nature will reveal itself...

I've known plenty people like this and I believe you are correct.

sometimes a simple post is completely terrifying in its implications

this is one of those

Indeed...the scorpion has to believe its own lie to convince.

Trust what they do; not what they say.

It's his nature and a crime of opportunity.

It is the true nature of the minds involved. Also the nature of the world, to not know itself until its too late to act, unless they are intuitive to observe and discern before hand. In the moment is almost always not good enough.

It's like with the niggers. Some niggers are well-spoken. They are clean-shaven and have nice haircuts. They wear nice suits and talk about baseball and taking their kids to the park on Sunday. But they are niggers. This means that, biologically, they are predisposed to lose control and become violent when they get angry or excited. They may tell you that they will never turn on you or betray your trust. They may swear that they are your best friend. But they are niggers, and sooner or later their predisposition to violence and betrayal will reveal itself.
