People just don't know anything about anything. Now, while this level of ignorance may not be new, what is new is the self-awareness of people about their own ignorance. When they had religion, they had certain truths that were absolute, that they put complete faith in, and this gave them a firm foundation upon which to build their lives. Today, having had Christianity stripped away from them, they no longer possess these certainties. They are aware that they know nothing, and this makes them uncertain and timid.

They are afraid to speak for fear of being wrong and looking foolish, or worse, transgressing a liberal taboo. They are afraid to act lest they lose their job or their reputation for nothing -- because, since they have no faith in anything they are saying, why should they maintain a position in the face of hostility, aggression, or punishment?

A person with beliefs will maintain that certain things are true, even in the face of opposition; but a person with no beliefs will stand for nothing, because he believes in nothing. Most people have had their beliefs stripped from them in a kind of psycho-socio rape, and they have not been able to find beliefs to replace them. This had made them weak.

The jackels on the left have taken advantage of this. The liberal fascists do have something they believe in. They have a narrative. They have talking points. These are false, of course, and impossible to defend rationally, but they are believed in, and it is this belief that gives the liberal fascists their strength, their courage, to maintain a point of view in the face of opposition. They can even defy reason with their beliefs, because belief is stronger than reason for most people.

So, the right is not going to speak up on Covid, because the right has no faith in themselves, no certainty that they know anything about anything, let alone about Covid. They may understand that the liberal fascists are wrong, but they lack the courage, the conviction, to say so.

I feel bad replying with such a short comment in response to such a great one, but wow. I hadn't made those connections yet, though my mind has definitely been skirting the edges... I'm going to be thinking about this for a long while.

White people are demoralized by the anti-White movement and just plain vile hatred from society. Religion has turned out to be a lie, government is a lie, voting is a lie.....all we have left is ourselves, some loyal family if we are lucky, and faith in God. We are living in an environment of fear. TBH only about 10% of people question authority at all, and have a solid self reliant personality. It's been bred out of us by everyone getting a reward for that they didn't work for nor deserve on merit.
