I work for a very large company. Right now im trying to figure out how i can get fired. I want them to pay out the severance, but they absolutely refuse to do so. They want to do all this PIP stuff instead for underperformance, but it feels so draining, all i want is the severance check, is that too much to ask for?!

Asked to be moved to a much more reclusive office space. Start claiming all your sick time and vacation time. Take up all your unexcused absence time. When you have to be there make sure you do absolutely nothing useful but you're always "busy". Just gold brick anyway you can that doesn't go against company rules. Malicious compliance is your best bet. Take everything they ask you to do and do it with a vengeance in mind. Make them regret asking you to do anything until they just stop asking you to do anything. Eventually you will either be promoted or fired. They will seek ways to get rid of you that won't get them in trouble with an attorney.
