If we live inside an enclosed space that means there is something outside this enclosed space. This is called space. As we can measure interactions with space and the sun and the fact the sun is observed, we confirm the only enclosure is the atmosphere.

Yeah, we can interact with the sun. That could work on a globe or flat earth, regardless of what the medium is between the sun and earth.
