In the book Snow Crash (which lol I didn't fully read because it's pretty bad), there's this idea that linguistics are a type of code that operates the human consciousness or so. There's an "original" language, kinda like some master language / "machine code" (think of occult symbology that's everywhere in advertising and media) that can tap deep into "root" and program the being. The book references Babylon / the Tower of Babel and the shaking up of languages as a way to prevent humans from accessing their own "admin" rights Tabula Rasa is the latin phrase which literally means "blank slate," a theory that we all come into life as a completely bland slate to be "written on." So I was suggesting that most people are just blank slates that let themselves get overwritten in the programming they absorb without a second thought.
