Im a widower, been so for a few years. I got out of a relationship, and i feel like my entire life is hopeless now. This woman ingrained it into my head that being a widower is worst than having cancer, and that she was "settling" with me. I've come to believe, that since then, and since finding christ, she may actually be right. I'm young, I'm not particularly interesting, and my entire past is morbid and dark. So realistically, im thinking my dating life may in fact just be over at this point.

Widowers have better market value than divorcees.

The market is tough but don't give up. There is someone out there for you.

Came to say this. Divorcee's are out of the question for a lot of women but widowers definitely aren't. Your ex said that just to hurt you, I'm not here to make you feel better I just thought that was a completely retarded thing for someone to say and felt like you should know that's not the case.
