Well, originally, there were indigenous peoples of the Cape, the Koi and the San. They're not Negroid, they're Australoid. When the Dutch settlers arrived in the early 17th Century, there were no Negroids in the Cape area. The Bantu migrated Southwards hundreds of years later, and those are the bulk of the Negroids currently outnumbering the Caucasoid and Australoid combined population by twenty to one in the Cape region.

The white folk of South Africa do not consider Khoi-San people to be black, they consider them to be "coloured."
