One thing I've noticed is that this particular group of conservatives cannot let go of Q, and there is a large group of liberals who simply cannot let Trump go either. I saw a family member over the Easter holiday who is a raving liberal, and she was still going on about Trump. She is an older person. She needed some computer help. I happened to see her emails, and she is subscribed to a ton of those batshit liberal newsletters. I saw headlines criticizing Melania for fuck's sake. We are, what, 3 months out now from the inauguration? Trump has peeped up a couple times for some nonsense? These people are still carrying on in their hatred, even of Melania.
It reminds me of that line from The Joker: "Kill you? I don't want to kill you. No, you...you complete me."
It's like these people have been trained to hate. They want to, and they need that object to hate. With the Qsciples, they've been trained to hope. They need that hope, no matter how hopeless it gets. Counter-intuitively (or maybe not), the more ridiculous things get, the more they'll need Q. The liberals will need Trump the more and more ridiculous the Biden administration gets. Without that figure of evil, they'd have to acknowledge the reality. What's common to both parties is just this: the inability to acknowledge reality.
