Not seeing any info on the crew, motives, is the giant penis and ass thing real...the list goes on. All I see is how much money a day is being burned. Winds didn't cause a problem for the other ships that day as far as I can tell, unless it was trying to go up the steps to af1.

Ships transiting the Suez are required to have a 'pilot' (also when entering and exiting ports) aboard. The pilot is usually an employee of the canal or port authority and is an "expert" in navigating the local area. The ship is required to take directions of speed and course from the pilot, but if anything goes wrong the captain is still responsible.
