I've just done a round of upgrades on phones and now have a handful of batteries to dispose of. Does anyone still take these things as recycling? It's been so long since I've been to a big-box store, I really have no idea these days.

Serious questions demand serious answers.

Also for some of these places you might have to talk to the customer service desk, I don't know why they did it but some places put the bins behind employee only areas now. Good luck, and if you can't find anything you can also check out your local city/county recycling center (Like the normal recycling centers that take cans/cardboard) and see if they might have a bin for electronics.

The only county recycling place we have here is in a part of town that a white person does not go to, and it's open exactly a few hours a week. So that's probably out.

I'll check at stores I go to and see what they offer. Used to just chuck them in the recycle bin at my job, but I don't work there anymore.
