You'd never be accepted with open arms, and Americans would be branded as 'abandoners' or 'cowards'. Nevermind that it would be no different than Syrian 'refugees' or Mexican 'migrants'.

Besides, if the US collapses, the dollar becomes worthless and nobody would want you solely for that reason.

I'm planning on getting either an Argentina, Swedish or Italian passport through my ancestry. I am able to claim citizenship through those means. I would leave using one of those passports, not my American Passport.

Edit: and no, I would not live in Sweden, good grief no
