Would you like to have a new setting that lets you decide how this feature will behave?

For example, having several choices such as:

  1. Posts don’t show up (current behavior)

  2. Posts show up, but are dimmed (20%)

  3. Posts show up, but have a red left border.

Failing to understand that users will, in fact, be confused when they change to a non-default setting.....

Failing to understand that there's a User Guide page you more than likely haven't read, or you wouldn't be so confused.
