Would be something if he has a sudden moment of clarity and says "help me I'm a prisoner/I don't consent to any of this but they'll do X if I don't/please shoot me and put me out of my misery" etc. They would for sure say he's got dementia so bad that he can no longer serve and it's time for strong negro to take over.
