I read an answer from one of the admins here a while ago that basically said something about how blocks take up a lot of server space and they reserve that ability for people who are established members so that they don't overload themself. I'm not a tech guy, so i might be explaining it wrong
That was before we upscaled. We gave priorities to low resource consuming features.
Dang, that actually sounds really plausible...
Don't see how it would take up a meaningful amount extra space; it might take up a little ectra processing, but not much.
Like I said, I'm no tech Guy, but it seems like it would take a good amount of processing power, because for each individual person it has to sort through each post and hide the comments from the blocked people, and obviously it would be different for every user. If there are 10,000 users then that is a lot of "thinking," especially when some users block 10 20 30 40 people
