I imagine that russian-US alliance would probably be the greatest threat to the current jewish hegemony, hence the efforts to sow constant discord between the two countries. Russia was pretty gracious with offers to help through out the revolutionary war, even the somewhat disputed "father" of US Navy, John Paul Jones served under Catherine the Great.
Personally I think that the post holohoax (((media))) is still pushing the cold war narrative onto american society and a lot of americans buy into what is no longer an existent stereotype of who Russians really are.
