Havent gone to college in a few years, just what am i looking at here? Im assuming the classes are way easier to pass, however, how likely is it i get canned/expelled for me being well me? Also, worth it doing a masters or should i can that idea?

In all honesty, what is it about the idea of spending your time and future freedom on college that seems attractive to you?

Personal reason, my wife(passed away) always told me i should finish so i feel like its the right thing to do. The reason im so conflicted is because i currently work as a software architect at a large financial company, and its making me doubt the use of having a degree in the first place

No doubt you loved your wife. No doubt she loved you. Just because she had this opinion does not mean it was a good one. No doubt what she wanted more than anything else was for you to be as happy and successful as you can be.

How would college fit into that vision?

I am top of my class and I had to resubmit my assignments, when I know for a fact that there was nothing wrong with them.

Meanwhile foreign students that could barely say good morning in English passed them all in one go.

The Feedback was always shit and I had to pretend to sit through this sessions with my tutor to go through what was wrong and I had to pretend to agree and then resubmit the same assignment. I was even given feedback about my citations lol...

From day one of class back 15 years ago, I ve done nothing but spend a great deal of time organizing my library in my pc. You wont get more analytical than myself.Proper Citation is my middle name.

If there was one thing not wrong with my assignments, it was my citations.

This was always a problem in my early years, i was a software engineer by the time i "entered" college, so i was using industry conventions and practice. A lot of times i found myself dumbing down my assignments because the people grading them simply did not understand what was going on. I once used a special loop control from the times of C++ to create a stack effect for a repeating code block. The idea being that they wanted me to use a switch/case, so i did, except i manipulated it for efficency. Failed the entire assignment which was a bummer, but the assignment did exactly what they wanted it to do.

You're wasting your time, donating your money to Israel and that piece of paper you get after several years is going to be worthless.

What you earn at your current job is way, way more valuable than any second you spend in a "college".

Well without going into too much detail, i make 160,000/yr and i currently am a super senior engineer. The cost is not the problem to me, so much as whether the time commitment and effort is even worth it

It's only worth it if you're a retard, which you will be if you decide to go.

Just keep your tutors close and construct some sob story about your background.

You’ll soon come to the conclusion that you’re wasting your money.

You’ll have to walk on eggshells around every easily-offended freak to avoid getting canceled. And since it’s college, they’re all easily-offended freaks.

That you’re wasting your time unless you’re doing STEM. Then you’re only mostly wasting your time.

STEM is where i would want to go towards, however, at my level it seems like a downgrade? I have a decade of experience in large scale, big data companies, doing some insane stuff. However, even back when i started, i always wondered how college would help me? If college is to get a job, then doesnt me having a job defeat the point of college? The only reason i see this being a problem, is that there are still tons of companies that will toss your resume in the trash for not having a degree. And with the advent of diversity crap, this is becoming more apparent that white people need higher credentials than the minority counterparts to get a leg up

I have recently been involved in the hiring process at a large company that you have almost certainly heard of if you live in Minnesota. If you have decent experience, nobody cares if you have a degree or not. You can learn all the stuff you might not learn on the job by watching videos on Youtube (or something like Kahn Academy if you prefer) and running a few experiments on your own. College was arguably not worth it when I graduated more than 10 years ago, and I can't imagine it's worth the damage to your psyche now. If I were you, I would very strongly consider cutting my losses and abandoning the whole thing.

Expect to pay taxes to Israel and provide for their free education and talmudic studies while you pay for your higher marxist learning

Lol.

Here's what your should "expect.

Expect to be making monthly student loan payments for at least 10 years afterward for a degree that does little, or nothing, to benefit your financial situation.

Expect to spend at least a few years of your life jumping through hoops, but rarely, if ever actually bettering your mind.

Expect to find yourself surrounded by lazy, contemptuous assholes.

Expect to find yourself on the receiving end of psychological manipulation.
