As soon as George Floyd happened I got my brother to do it to me.

It hurts but it doesn't stop you breathing, your rib cage props you up so you don't even feel compression on your lungs at all.

That's not the point of that maneuver. The point it to keep positive control. When you have someone's chest pinned to the ground, they don't have the leverage to do anything else with their hands and feet.
