Well I have about 2 inches more than I should around my waist and I can tell you it is like having extra skin hanging around. It is almost a second layer separate from yourself.
I once saw a fat person get stoned on cannabis and she started crying about how she was a small person trapped under this outer layer of fat. I can't remember exactly what she said, but it was akin to "help I'm trapped in this large suit." So, from my limited experience, fat is like an outer layer beyond yourself. Pillows might be an apt metaphor if they are made of lead and sewn under your skin?
That sounds terrible.
I wonder why there's no medical treatment for it. It's clearly a medical problem since fat people have access to the same food as everyone else. No matter how much food I put in my dog's food bowl, they never get fat unless they have something like a hypothyroid issue.
hypothyroid issue.
Bullshit. It's proven that hypothyroid causes only 5% weight gain.
Your dogs aren't fat because they burn the calories they eat with being active.
There's only one rule: CICO. Anything else is "muh gunetics" BS.
It's always funny when people say "how are you so skinny if you eat as much as me!?! You must have a fast metabolism! Not fair!"
No. This is all I eat. You, fatsos sneak off at night and raid the fridge.
I recommend anyone who has fat relatives to put a baby monitor by their kitchen at night and just watch for a few hours after everyone goes to bed. They sneak in one by one and grab snacks like mice.
My rant is over, calories in calories out, stop eating fatties.
I can give you a few different injections that will make you permanently obese, like in the 400lb range by damaging the hypothalamus or introducing a specific low grade trigger of the aryl hydrocarbon receptor. Probably can just do it with repeated acute LPS injections too, certainly persistant LPS can cause obesity, but acute LPS injections could retrain the immune system to over react to it.
You can do it with animals, no reason it couldn't work in humans.
Body weight is something the body regulates.
Look up hypothalamic obesity. These people do eat more calories, but it's because their brain has been damaged.
