All the bandwidth they got from shutting down long distance television broadcasting must not have satisfied them. The children would rather have tic-tok video than Captain Kangaroo.
The 700mhz spectrum was a big grab for them. I havent actually seen anything but more channels available on digital though. I live within 30 minutes of a midsized town and there are several channels available. It may be different farther out.
The spectrum game is such a crazy racket and most people dont understand how it affects them and their service and what technologies are allowed to be made and sold and used.
It's crazy man
Around here a lot of rural folks had a fairly large amount of metal in the air to receive analogue TV. Now they do without or pay a cable monopoly. Which part of the public's interest was served? So it goes.... Now they are breaking my phone. I can't work on my car without breaking DMCA, Waaaaahhhh!
