I look at Poal every day, but find that seemingly every other day I sit down to go through Poal posts only to find every pic8 link fails to load. This is on wifi or even on cellular data. Pic8 is down at least as much as its up.

I'm seeing the same behavior with the first like I tried:

Spinning and nothing loading, but no error appearing yet. I'm sure if I let it sit there a few minutes it will probably open. But usually when this happens, I of course will just close the tab and move on. After enough of these, you can imagine that I feel I need to vent about pic8 links not opening.

is the link that's being returned to you by pic8.

Sadly, if the homepage of pic8 takes awhile to load for you, there's not much I can do--short of buying more server space in more locations around the world. If pic8 homepage loads quickly, then it may be that geekpic.net is far away from you/the infrastructure between your ISP and their server is poor

Where are the servers located, generally? My connection is out of Atlanta GA.

Well, geekpic's ip is located in US, so it can't be too bad.

To be honest, I am not sure the cause of the intermittent long load times.

You did help me find an inefficiency with pic8, which would cause it to hang sometimes, but clearly that hasn't resolved your issue.

This kind of thing is hard to disanose, without working from your internet connection. My apologies :/
