I look at Poal every day, but find that seemingly every other day I sit down to go through Poal posts only to find every pic8 link fails to load. This is on wifi or even on cellular data. Pic8 is down at least as much as its up.

It may very well be your ISP.

Pic8 refreshes the links which are served periodically.

If you pay attention, you'll notice that a given pic8 link (https://pic8.co/sh/blahblah) will redirect to different hosts throughout time (one time it may be imgbox, another time it redirects to jssocial, etc.)

So, if your ISP doesn't like some of the underlying image hosts that pic8 redirects to, then a given image may load at one time (serving a host your ISP is fine with) and later won't load (because it's now serving a host your ISP does not like)

At this moment, I have 6 tabs open, trying to view pic8 links that are in the New area, and none of them loaded until I let the tabs swirel for about 60 seconds. I was just about to close them all, giving up on any of them actually opening, when they suddenly all did.

What is this behavior all about?

Do you know what host the images resolved to?

DId they all end up at the same host? Like geekpic, imgbox, etc.?

When you navigate to https://pic8.co (homepage), do you ever have lag? Do you have to wait for 60 seconds to load, or does it load quickly every time?

I appreciate you giving me more info on the issue you're having.

The home page also sat and took a long while to load as well.

I don't have the links open any longer, but I guess the next time I can copy/paste the addresses into another response.
