I saw by and it got me thinking about the other Sam Hyde posts I've seen. I've never, ever finished one because they're too long, meandering, and I never know what point he's trying to make and/or if he has one. It's like going to the middle of an essay without a thesis that switches topics midway through with just a dash of rant/word soup.

What on earth is interesting about this guy? The only remarkable thing I can see is that his mother didn't drown him in a bathtub after seeing his misshapen face.

Maybe I just haven't seen the right things. Do you have any suggestions?

These 2 are my favorite. Shit always cracks me up. This is what I usually show to friends that have never heard of him. They usually laugh. Idk. I laugh. Hopefully you laugh.

Ok that cop one was funny. Still too unfocused, but funny.

[–] 1 pt

You've seen Million Dollar Extreme?

[–] 1 pt

Nope. Is that a show? Any particular one I should watch?

[–] 3 pts

its a type of humor, if you dont get it, then dont watch it

[–] 0 pt

Ah, so I take it from your non-answer that you can't explain why you enjoy it. Good to know, thanks.

just because i dont spoon feed you doesnt mean i cant. im just not going to. id rather you die

[–] 0 pt

id rather you die

Well that escalated quickly. You sound well adjusted.

jews love disgusting kikes. their sense of humor is genetic - just like their attraction to fucking 3 year old babies (Sanhedrin 54b and 55b, and Mishna Niddah 5:4)

[–] [deleted] 2 pts

Prove Sam is a jew..... You can't. Because he's not. He actually hates jewry.

[–] 1 pt

he sure does a terrible job at not being a kike

[–] 0 pt

Wait, he's also a jew?

[–] 3 pts

You can't tell?

[–] 1 pt

Nope. My jewdar isn't as finely tuned as some here.

[–] 2 pts

he is a bolshevik-looking miscreant, is he not?

he’s the kind of jew Tchaikovsky famously wrote about: “A mass of dirty Yids with that poisonous atmosphere which accompanies them everywhere.”

[–] 2 pts

I just thought he was remarkably ugly.

No.

A few people seem convinced he is which is strange.

He's doing the Andy Kaufman/Family Guy act. By dragging something out far, far too long it can go from being uninteresting, to uncomfortable, to funny. Much popular humor is about subverting expectations. The Jerry Seinfeld observational humor "Ever notice how we park on a driveway and drive on a parkway?" is along these lines. The point is that it's meandering, shocking or makes you see a connection that you wouldn't have seen otherwise.

I'm not a huge fan of Kaufman/Hyde/Seinfeld, but that's the reason some people find it funny.

You've probably figured out that jews use this type of humor to undermine their enemies.

Many people like Hyde in particular because his politics align with /pol/ and he tries to undermine the jews.

Hey thank you for what is by far the most complete answer. Only a few people who responded actually answered why.

Here's a good example.

He's obviously mocking niggers while ad libing the most ridiculous nonsense possible. He does a pretty good job of aping how black people talk and drawing your attention to how stupid and childish their culture is. The actress starts cracking up at "they call me pink dress" because the things he's saying are just so stupid. The longer he keeps going the harder it is for her to maintain her composure.

now hes just rambling for the sake of rambling. hes become background noise. and you really have to listen because he will go on about the absolute opposite shit just to be sarcastic, facetious or whatever flavor you want to call it. i watched one where he talked about growing up rich and crashing a bunch of cars and i realized why i dont like him. hes too rich to care.

His old standup was ahead of it's time. The TED-X took a lot of balls. MDE had a couple of good sketches/moments (the water one, jews rock, the dating show).

I watch his lil'shitpost content from time to time, all those things you said are true it's intentionally vague, meandering, his humor requires too much build up (even in the old standup there is a good 20-30 minutes of uncomfortable awkwardness that would eventually become humorous once you realize what is happening) not exactly the first choice for content but I watch is sometimes. It has some funny moments too (how to handle credit card debt and used car sales come to mind) and there are some interesting nuggets in there regarding the fall of Adult Swim. It's not usually all that political either (the hottest take he gave was during the riots), he spends most of his time trying to give fatherly advice while also being sarcastic and abrasive as hell. In a sense he's Jordan Peterson for retards. If he is a controlled op J (he does have the look) they are doing a good job of throwing flak at him cause his career is very over.

Lastly the MDE sub from back in the day was one of the best core groups of shit posters on reddit.

Thanks I'll check out the tedx talk

[–] 1 pt (edited )

The ted talk isn't all that funny, except for the fact that he's not supposed to be there and us as viewers know that, so it magnifies the funnyness of what he's saying. But just to watch it on its own it is not all that funny. But idk thats just my opinion. His early "stand up" shit was undeniably pretty funny though at least some of it. It was at least very confrontational to a group of people that I am not fond of, so it made me laugh to watch them kvetch.

They have some of the most insightful skits I've ever seen. Lookup their teacher skit or pickup artist

Edit: words

He uses a type of anti-comedy and throws a dash is some alt-right seasoning on it.

You think all of DaVinci's works are masterpieces? Same for Sam Hyde lol.

[–] 0 pt

Well if you like him, Quail-Bro, I'll have to watch more of his stuff.

[–] 0 pt

He's got a few masterpieces, for sure. A lot of his stuff is just him acting weird.

Some of the best work was done by his fans. For example, every time the news was fooled into reporting the active shooter as Sam Hyde.

[–] 0 pt

Here's something funny made by fans. Modern polish mercenary Hyde.

Yeah I saw that; gave me a chuckle.
