I've been playing and slowly buying since August. Makes it so much easier than scrambling at the last minute...like you. Haha.

The drawback is buying more than you're supposed to. Forgetting how much or just not stopping. But giving is the most fun.

if I buy too much I just save the presents for birthdays. For the kids I will also save presents for easter baskets.

I finished the last of it on the 22nd, then I went to the bar. I finished wrapping everything this morning.

I did have to pick up a six pack my dad requested I bring, but that was it.

I did the last minute thing a couple times. It really sucks, I felt like I'm just forced into buying crap to fill an obligation instead of being able to thoughtfully choose gifts.

All choices were made well in advanced of what to get just stuck getting it all last minute due to baby being born. I am not enjoying the rushed feeling though.
