Knowing that if I kill myself, people I cared about have to clean up the mess, manage my remains, belongings, and legal affairs, organize a funeral service, and then blame themselves for not seeing signs or doing more to prevent me from going that route. I've seen what happens to all the friends and family left behind after someone decides they're done carrying on. Can't go selfishly putting that burden on other people just because I'm tired of being alive.
