I hope you working on something like an old chriscraft. We lived on a sailboat for 5 years. It was great, but a lot of hassle. Lived in a motor home after that for 5 years. Easier in many ways. Now on a farm...till it’s all over. Lots of work, lots of animals, no neighbors.
Farm life sounds incredibly sensible. I want to be sensible when I grow up.
But pfff! Chriscraft! They did some great motorboats, and even a few good sailboats [ a friend of mine has one of those... it has a different name, since Chriscraft is ubiquitously known as a motor boat brand].
I'm just racist against motorboats, even though boobies are the best. At my age, I might actually consider getting a power boat at some point... but for now, I'm still owned by this old gal. (pic8.co)
She’s a beaut. Non stop work I’m sure. We had a beneteau 40. Sunk during hurricane Irma. I miss the long passages. Wouldn’t trade trade the farm though.
