I don’t remember seeing an article, but there were a couple of well-distributed memes showing TBoys on Twitter complaining that it’s triggering them seeing their faces next to the faces of natural humans, and I think (maybe? I might be remembering wrong) one of them said it was like suffering from PTSD. Does that sound any closer to what you were looking for?
